Manikandan S studied at SRR Engineering College, Padur for BTech (Information Technology) . Manikandan was an English medium Science student of the Corporation Boys Higher Secondary School, Nungambakkam He scored 83% in the 12th standard exam. The foundation has sponsored him from the 12th standard. His father is a lorry driver and his mother is a housewife. He has 2 older sisters. He has participated in elocution and essay writing competitions and his favourite game is football.
He was a member of the NSS in his college. He is a bright and helpful child always ready to help the younger STF children. Currently he is working at Bank of America Continuum India as Software Engineer.
