Palanikumar finished his schooling from the PCK Govt. boys school in Kodambakkam scoring 95.8% in his main subjects. He scored in 83% in the10th standard. Palani has won many certificates in football and karate. He completed his BE Mechanical from Easwari Engineering College. He has consistently stood first in all his semesters in college & was given for the best student award for the academic year 2010 – 2014 from all (seven) departments in his college. He has received an award of Rs.1000/- (cheque) from Mayor Mr.Duraisamy at a presentation ceremony on 26.02.2014 at Nehru Stadium. His CGPA at 8.920 is the top mark considering all departments and ten extracurricular activities. He achieved the 25th University Rank in the Anna University in Mechanical Engineering. Presently he is working with TCS. He helped in settling his sisters marriage before his wedding. He also bought a car for his father ,who was an auto driver and a cancer survivor.
