Ranjani completed her  B.Com at Shri Krishnaswami College, Chennai. She is placed at Integrated Enterprises.

Ranjani completed her schooling at Govt. Girls HSS, Villivakkam, Chennai, scoring 85% in her 12th std. Her father, Sagayaraj, worked as a painter but abandoned the family when she was at young age and later passed away due to cancer. . Her mother, Latha, works as a maid in few houses to support the family. She has an elder sister who is married, has a child, and lives with her in-laws.

Ranjani is interested in yoga and essay competitions, having won prizes in both. Her ambition is to become a bank employee.
