Pavithra is currently pursuing her second year of B.Com General at D.G. Vaishnav College, Chennai, along with CMA. She completed her 10th std at Everwin Vidyashram (CBSE), securing 79%, and went on to complete her 12th std at Jaigopal Garodia Matriculation Higher Secondary School, where she scored 93%. Pavithra’s family faced a major setback during the COVID-19 pandemic when her father, Mr. Ganesan, tragically passed away, leaving the family emotionally and financially distressed. Since then, her mother, Ms. Vasumathi, has been the sole breadwinner of the family. She works tirelessly as both a cook and a tailor, to support her children and manage household expenses.
Pavithra is a multi-talented individual with a keen interest in the arts. She excels in drawing and dancing, and enjoys reading books in her free time, which helps her stay focused and inspired. Her elder brother, Madan, was previously supported by STF for his 12th-grade education. However, the support had to be discontinued due to his inability to meet the academic performance criteria set by the foundation. Recognizing the family’s struggles and the fact that they had lost their father to COVID-19, Pavithra was extended financial assistance by STF under its special consideration for COVID-affected families.
Pavithra is highly motivated and aims to become a Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) in the future. She is determined to overcome all challenges and build a successful career to support her family and fulfill her father’s dreams.
