Preethi Angel A is currently pursuing her first year of B.Com (General) at Don Bosco Arts & Science College, Chennai. She completed her 10th standard at a government school, securing 69%, and completed her 12th standard at Anna Adarsh Matriculation Higher Secondary scoring 88%. Preethi comes from a financially and emotionally challenging background. Her father abandoned the family, leaving her mother, Mrs. Amalorpavamary, as the sole breadwinner. Despite the hardships, her mother works tirelessly as a tailor, to support the family’s basic needs and her daughters’ education.

Preethi has a younger sister, Prithika, who is currently studying in the 11th standard at a government school. The family faces ongoing financial struggles, but both sisters are determined to pursue their education with sincerity and perseverance. Her favourite subject is Accountancy and her ambition is to become an IAS Officer.
