He completed his 10th std at DAV School, Santhavelur scoring 91.6%, and his 12th std at Maharishi International Residential School, Santhavelur with 79.2%.
In 2019, while Ajay was studying in the 10th standard, his father, J. Srinivasan, tragically took his own life due to extreme financial stress. He had taken multiple loans to develop his business, which was severely impacted during the pandemic, leaving him unable to repay the debts. Following his father’s passing, Ajay’s mother, Sujata, sold their house to settle all outstanding loans. The family now lives with Ajay’s maternal uncle, without having to pay rent.
His mother Sujata works as an English teacher at a private school, and manages the household. From the proceeds of selling the house, funds were deposited in the names of Ajay and his sister for their education, but those funds have been used for tuition and coaching expenses. Ajay’s portion was primarily utilized for his NEET coaching, while his sister’s is being used for school fees.
Despite these challenges, Ajay cleared the NEET examination in two attempts and has secured a BDS seat. His younger sister is currently studying in the 11th std. His maternal grandmother also lives with them, providing emotional and moral support.
Apart from academics, Ajay is actively involved in extracurricular activities. He has a passion for stage performance and has been recognized for his talents, having won 1st prize in both a mono act and a movie scene recreation competition at his dental college. His ambition is to become a Surgeon, and he is committed to excelling in his chosen field. He passed with distinction in Embryology and Oral Histology and earned honors in Anatomy.
