Subham A is studying B.Tech AI & DS, 2nd year at LICET, Chennai.

He completed his schooling at St. Joseph’s Mat HSS Walajabad, scoring 92.2% in Class 10 and 92.5% in Class 12. His father, late Ajay Sharma P, ran a small tiffin shop to support the family.
A tragic turning point came when Subham’s father was riding a bicycle to drop both Subham and his sister at school. Unfortunately, they met with a severe road accident. In that incident, Subham witnessed his father being fatally struck by a lorry while protecting and safeguarding his sister. Subham himself fell slightly away from the path of the lorry and was spared. The family took a long time to recover from this heart-breaking loss.
Since then, his mother, Sapna Sharma, has taken responsibility for running the tiffin shop to sustain the family. They live in a rented house in Walajabad. Subham’s sisters, Subhithira and Ajayshikha, are currently studying in Class 11 at a government school and Class 5 at a private school, respectively. Subham is now pursuing his B.Tech. AI & DS 2nd year at LICET, Chennai. Every day, he travels from Walajabad to college, leaving home at 5 a.m. and returning by 7 p.m. Although hostel support was offered by STF, he chose to stay at home as he feels his mother and sisters need his presence and support. Alongside his studies, he also does a part-time job to earn an income and support the family.
In addition to academics, Subham has excelled in sports. He was a district-level runner-up in high jump and javelin and also won 2nd place in a district-level science project competition. His favourite subjects are Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Subham’s greatest ambition is to bring back happiness and stability to his family, to make them proud, and to restore the joy they once had when his father was alive.
