Vinothkumar L is pursuing 2nd year BE Mechanical Engineering through lateral entry at College of Engineering, Guindy. He completed his schooling in a government school in Vanavasi, Salem, scoring 72.4% in Class 10 and 73% in Class 12. Due to financial constraints, he joined a nearby diploma college after school and completed his diploma with 90% in 2021.

He then worked at PSG Foundry Division, Sanmar Chemplast, and Renault Nissan before deciding to continue his engineering studies. His father passed away when he was young, and his family faces severe financial difficulties. His mother and sister support the family through tailoring work while caring for his sister’s children.

To continue his education and manage his college expenses, Vinothkumar works as a Rapido bike rider alongside his studies.
