Kavinesan B completed his schooling at SRGDS MHSS, Thiruvannamalai. He passed all subjects in Class 10 and scored 87% in Class 12. His fathe, Baskar S, is a farmer who supports the family with his minimal income. His mother, Sarala, is a housewife. His elder brother, Kavimugesan, has completed his UG. Kavinesan has had a strong ambition to become a doctor since childhood. He cleared the NEET examination on his third attempt and secured a seat in a Government Stanley Medical College, which brought immense happiness to him and his family.
He enjoys playing cricket and drawing. Having studied in the Tamil medium, he is currently working hard to improve his English. His favourite subject is Tamil, and his ambition is to become a leading surgeon.
