She completed her schooling at Kalaimagal Vidya Mandir Mat HSS, Salem. She scored 97.2% in her Class 10 and 97.33% in Class 12. She was the school topper and the third taluk topper in 12th.
Apart from academics, Kaviya is a talented and well-rounded student. She has a keen interest in drawing, actively participates in sports, especially Taj Ball, and is a Blue Belt holder in Karate.
Her father Shanmugham works as a daily-wage lorry driver and supports the family. Her mother is a homemaker. Kaviya has an elder sister who is currently pursuing her 3rd year of law at Salem Government Law College. Despite their hardships, her parents remain committed to ensuring that both their daughters receive a quality education.
Her goal is to build a successful profession while providing financial stability and support to her family.
