He completed his schooling at Devi Academy Sr Sec School, scoring 87.8% in Class 10 and 85.2% in Class 12. His father, Mr. Balakrishnan, suffered severe financial losses during the pandemic, forcing him to exit the partnership with substantial debt. Since then, he has been unemployed and has struggled with alcoholism, leaving the family’s financial responsibilities to Arun’s mother. His mother Mala works as a cook and takes up other household jobs in several homes to support the family. Arun has two younger siblings, both are studying in school.
He is an artist with a keen interest in drawing and logo design. He also enjoys playing badminton, participating in quiz competitions, volunteering in club activities, and taking part in inter-college competitions and workshops. His ambition is to build a career at the intersection of medicine and technology. He is determined to work hard and provide a secure and brighter future for his family.
