Chitra B is visually handicapped and yet passed out in flying colours from the Little Flower School for Blind. She obtained 89.3% in the 12th, scoring 94% in History, and is also a talented singer. She completed her  BA History from Stella Maris College and completed her MA from Ethiraj college, and her B.Ed from Sridevi College of Education.
