Saranya, a visually handicapped student, obtained 83.7% in the 12th with 84% in Economics and 83% in Tamil. Her father and her brother are also blind and are looked after by her mother. She has completed her BA Tamil Literature from Queen Mary’s College. Her ambition is to become a teacher.
