Geetha Y is completed her  B. Com in Accounting and Finance at MOP Vaishnav College, Chennai. She is placed at Sundaram Finance Ltd.

Geetha’s father, Yuvaraj, is illiterate and works as an attender at AV Meiyappan  Hr Sec School, Virugambakkam, Chennai. Her mother, Devi, is also illiterate. Geetha is a Nepali by origin – her parents migrated from Nepal to Tamil Nadu long time ago.

Geetha completed her schooling at AV Meiyappan  Hr Sec School, where she scored 592/600 (98.66%), ranking as the second topper of her school. She was also the school topper in Class 11, scoring 586/600. The family resides in the workers’ quarters within the school campus. Geetha has two sisters: her elder sister, Meera, has completed her UG and is working, and her younger sister, Durga, is studying 5th std at AV Meiyappan School.
