Hemamala V completed her BE-ECE at SSN College of Engineering, Chennai. She is placed at Deloitte USI.

Hemamala completed her schooling from Govt Hr. Sec. School in Kasipalayam, Erode district, with grades of 432 in class 10 and 584 in class 12. Hema lost her mother when she was three months old due to health concerns, and she lost her father while she was in first std. Her grandparents raised her and her elder sister from then on, and following their deaths, they are currently cared for by her maternal uncle.   Her older sister is working in Chennai.
