Jasintha is a visually challenged girl. She has completed her B.A. History from Ethiraj College. Her father had a mental disorder and abandoned the family. Her mother is a labourer in the paddy fields. Apart from her excellent academic performance, she had an interest in extracurricular activities like singing, acting, and elocution. Jacintha’s disability has not stopped her from learning anything new including learning to weave chairs. She wants to become a teacher.
