Kavithalaya completed her 10th in 2013 at Government Higher Secondary School, Thiruppallaikudi, Ramanathapuram District, scoring 85.6%. Immediately after completing her 10th, she was married at the age of 15. Unfortunately, her married life was marked by severe hardship. Her husband was an alcoholic and frequently subjected her to physical violence and verbal abuse. After enduring several years of suffering, Kavithalaya made the difficult decision to leave her husband and return to her mother’s house with her infant daughter.
Determined to rebuild her life, Kavithalaya moved to Chennai and enrolled in a Diploma in Computer Science at Dr. Dharmambal Government Polytechnic College for Women and completed with an outstanding 97.29%, Recognizing her potential, her teachers supported her in securing admission to Anna University through lateral entry.
Kavithalaya’s journey is a powerful example of courage, and determination, as she continues to overcome adversity and work toward a stable and dignified future for herself and her daughter.
