Lakshmi K completed her schooling at Brammaas Vidhyalaya CBSC School, Vellore scoring  459/500 in class 10 and 475/500 in class 12.  She is currently enrolled in the first year of B.Sc.  Nursing at the Salem Government Nursing College, Govt Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College.  When Lakshmi was three years old, her father died after a heart attack. Her mother Papitha supports the family by working as a tailor. Her younger brother has joined a diploma course after completing his 10th std. She is good at elocution and has received many prizes in her school. Her favourite subject is Biology and her aim is to become a good nurse and serve the needy.
