Malathy A is studying BE E & I 2nd year at MIT, Anna Unversity, Chennai.
She completed her schooling at Kalaivani MHSS, Gingee, scoring 87.2% in Class 10 and 97.3% in Class 12. She is a native of Villupuram. Her father, Arumugam, is a farmer who earns around Rs. 6,000 per month, and her mother, Sangeetha, is a housewife. Her elder sister is married and lives with her in-laws.

Malathy enjoys reading books, and her ambition is to become an IAS officer. She has stated that if she secures a good placement in her final year, she plans to start working while simultaneously preparing for the IAS examination. Due to the unstable nature of her father’s income, which depends on agricultural yield and market sales, he is finding it difficult to financially support her education.
