Mohamed completed his schooling at MES Razenam Higher Secondary School–Kilpauk. He scored 438 out of 500 in Class 10 and 1095 out of 1200 in Class 12. His father is highly diabetic and had to amputate his toes. He works as a tailor. Presently Ashik is working for NSeit Limited as an IT hardware support. He completed his B.E. in Automobile Engineering from Easwari Engineering College. He has a younger sister studying in high school.
