Monisha  completed her diploma in Hotel Management and his doing an internship at Park Hotel. She lost her parents at her young age. Her mother passed away due to cancer and her father abandoned the family immediately after her death and became an alcoholic and passed away 4 years later.  She and her younger brother are being brought up by her maternal uncle and aunt. Her uncle works as a housekeeper and supports his family as well as Monisha and her brother with his meager income. Monisha is good in relay, she got 1st prize in 400 meter relay. Her ambition is to become a leading Chef.
