Chitra N completed her B.Com. at Chellammal Women’s College. She scored 86.8% in her 12th std at Nungambakkam Girls Hr. Sec. School. Her father abandoned her when she was a baby and her mother passed away soon after; leaving her and her two brothers to be raised by their grandmother. Both brothers dropped out of school to work. They are also supported by their aunt who is unmarried and earns Rs.4000 working at Leo coffee shop.
