Nishanthi M studied at Chennai HSS School and scored 1095 out of 1200 in Class 12. she completed her B.Com. from Ethiraj College. She is working for  Cap Gemini in the accounts department. Her father works as a plumber and mother works as a housemaid. She has an elder brother doing his final year of engineering degree at Thangavelu Engineering College.
