Periaswamy was an English medium Science student of class 12 at the Corporation Boys Higher Secondary School, Nungambakkam. He scored 91 % in the 10th standard exam, scoring centum in Mathematics. He also stood 2nd in the school.
His father is a vegetable vendor and his mother a flower seller. He has 2 younger sisters. He has won prizes in inter-school essay competitions and aims to become an IAS officer. We hope to see great results from him. He has completed his BA sociology in 2013 from Loyola College Chennai and immediately joined HP as Process Associate .In January 2016 he resigned in order to attend the IAS coaching class .Presently he is working for Lakshmi Vilas Bank as Asst. manager.
