R. Manikandan completed his B.Sc chemistry from Loyola college & joined for M.Sc in the same college. He scored 430/500 in his class 10 exam & 986/1200 for class 12 from Chennai H.S. School Subbarayan Street . He lost his father during his final year. His mother works as a housekeeper in a hotel and they stay in a tiny rented house. His younger brother studies in the same school and their elder brother stopped his college studies to help his family. Manikandan’s ambition in life is to become an IAS officer.
