R Thamarai Sandhiya studied in Presidency HS school – Egmore in Class 12 with Biology and Maths. She scored 455/500 in her 10th exam. Her mother works for a tailoring unit and raised her without any support from family members. They stay in a rented house. She lost her father when she was studying in her primary school. Her ambition is to become a doctor.
