Renuga S is studying B.Sc. Nursing 2nd year at the Government College of Nursing, Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, Salem. She completed her 10th standard at a government school with 83.4% and her 12th standard at a private school with 94%.

She lost her mother, Tamilendhi, at a young age. She has an elder sister, Durga, who is pursuing B.Sc. Data Science in Thanjavur. After their mother’s death, their father Saravanan remarried Chithra, and they had a son named Aadhavan, who is currently studying in school. Renuga and Durga were not cared for by their stepmother, so their father separated from his second wife and raised his two daughters until his death in 2024.

At present, Durga supports herself through part-time work, while Renuga is supported by STF. After their father’s death, their stepmother filed a legal case claiming a share in the family house, which is currently under court proceedings. Renuga is talented in chess and kabaddi, and her favourite subjects are Mathematics and Tamil.
