Santhoshkumar R is studying BE Mechanical Engineering 2nd year at CEG. Anna University, Chennai. He completed his Class 10 at Shri Swamy Matric Higher Secondary School, Salem, scoring 71.4%. He then pursued a diploma at Salem Polytechnic College, where he scored 94% (4138/4400). He is a native of Salem. His father, Raja, works as a daily wage labourer in a metal workshop and earns approximately ₹10,500 per month, supporting the family. His mother, Saraswathy, is a homemaker. He has a younger brother who is currently pursuing an online course in app development. Santhoshkumar completed his diploma in 2021 and began working as an apprentice at L&T in Coimbatore. From 2021 to 2025, he also worked at Lakshmi Machine Works, Coimbatore, as a trainee.  After securing admission to CEG, Anna University, his mother encouraged him to leave his job and pursue his undergraduate studies. He joined college but has been facing financial difficulties in paying his fees.  His favorite subject is Manufacturing, and he aspires to become a welding engineer.
